LESSON TWENTY SEVEN 27/09/2020
Welcome to Kidzone. Today we continue with our “Mission Possible series.” Lesson 3 is called “New Orders.” It can be very frustrating when our plans fall through, but God is never frustrated. He is the one guiding our lives, and His plans are always best. Ask God to make you and your family more open to changing plans so that you can choose God’s best!
Bottom Line: We should always follow God’s plans wherever they lead.
Objective: Kids will learn that God’s plans are better than our plans.
Memory Verse: “All things are possible with God.” Mark 10:27b (NIrV)
Scripture to read: Acts 16:6-15, Paul’s Vision & Lydia’s Conversion
Summary: Although Paul had hoped to go on a mission to Asia, God gave him new orders to go to Macedonia. Because he obeyed, Paul met Lydia, a powerful woman. When Lydia heard Paul’s message, she and all of her household put their faith in Jesus.
Activity: Kids may complete the colouring-in-page and find-a-word via the buttons below
Make this week’s lesson real:
How does your family typically handle a change in plans? Discuss with your kids how well or how poorly each of you reacts when plans are changed. Ask them why it’s important to be open to change - especially when God is the one changing our plans.
Here are some great discussion starters:
- Why did Paul change his travel plans?
- What happened because Paul was willing to change plans?
- How do we know that God’s plan is always the best plan?
Quiz your child on this week’s memory verse.
Show us the way to go so we can follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thank you for your support and may God bless you all!
