Brotherly love & honour
Hi everyone and welcome to Church!
I am excited at what I see God doing in our church at the present time. He is working miracles in people’s lives and we are seeing more and more people stepping up and taking responsibility for their part in God’s plan for the church. As your pastor, I find this very gratifying.
The bible tells us, in Romans 12:10, to “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honour.” I want to acknowledge the many expressions of brotherly love being shown throughout the church as people serve God and each other in so many ways. I honour the many people who are contributing to the life of the church, often unseen, but faithfully going about the tasks assigned to them. Whether you are a part of the bump in/bump out crew, an usher, a helper in Kids’ Church, a life group leader, a giver of hospitality, an encourager, a helper in 12 Baskets, an intercessor, a worship and creative team member, a server in the cafe, an elder or board member – whatever your role, you are important and your contribution is highly valued. The church simply could not function without you.
So, be encouraged, your contribution is an integral part of people coming to Christ and finding the healing and restoration that He offers. This is an incredible church and I honour all of you who continue to offer your time and talents to make it the great church it is.
